They did not encourage brutality,
Neither did they read it from a scripture.
Who are you… to dictate mortality?
ALL religions fit into this picture.
It takes colors to make art elegant
and a bit of effort to make them blend
with a keen eye you’ll see… ALL COLORS ARE RELEVANT.
Are these religious conflicts going to end?
Put down your weapons & lift up your arms
Not a religion supports violence
Now let’s listen to these dreadful alarms
Someday there will be a calming silence
We shouldn’t have to suffer from one’s wraith
Especially when our ONLY mistake was having a different faith.

These kids are coming to the United States for a better life but are falling behind in school due to their lack of previous knowledge, because when you’re running for your life, your first priority isn’t learning how to add and subtract, it’s survival.
