I am an upcoming 9th grader attending an international baccalaureate school in North Texas. I love to be creative and express myself through art, dance, and writing. I also love to teach and share my ideas and learnings with others. I decided to do this as it give me a chance to express myself, learn from others, and raise awareness about heartbreaking problems all around us.

I am an upcoming 9th grader attending a junior high in Dallas. Some of my favorite hobbies include painting, drawing, and beading. I decided to take part in this because I wanted raise awareness about local problems and what better way to do that then through things I am passionate about.

I like writing and reading in my free time along with watching Netflix and Youtube, playing and watching soccer, playing video games, and sleeping. I love dogs but sadly don’t have one, my goal for my articles is to bring light and importance to neglected and overlooked issues that are important to the community.

I am a 7th grader at Rice Middle School and I love to draw, read, and play sports and video games! I joined this project because I wanted to show that the youth of the community can make a difference! I want to raise awareness for overlooked problems through my creative expressions.

The idea of creating a natural space out of architecture and art is very important for connecting communities and building with natural beauty. I aspire to use both my artistic and architectural skills to achieve my goal of creating renewable spaces to increase the quality of life for communities and nature.

Hey, I am Rishika Garg instagram- @writtingaddict from MP India, currently I am completing my graduation. This lock down is helping me to improve my skills. The reasons I feel I write poetry is because it’s like storing our memory in the form of words because we won’t remember the days, but we do remember the moments and sometimes they are even the answers for my questions. This poetry helps me to know certain things about me and my life. I write to stop myself from becoming insane: Yes, poetry keeps me sane. It allows me to just write down what I am feeling, what drives me insane , in a symbolic form.

My name is Jillian Devries, and Iโm a 17 year-old Canadian who writes stories for both hobbies and fun. Sometimes, usually accidentally, my stories end up having a slightly political nature, or they end up being a commentary on the world and how it works today. Neglected Stories: the World Around Us seemed like a good way to get these stories out so they donโt end up rotting on my computer. Besides, stories are a fun way to point out things that are wrong in the world without really being offensive to anyone.

Why I want my work featured and what are my goals?
