One Mistake…
This piece is a collage artwork. If you look closely you can see that it is made out of small strips of newspapers and magazines. On the left side, a girl is shown dropping a bottle and on the right, a turtle is seen eating the very same bottle (the x’s on it’s eyes showing its death). This picture depicts the tragic reality of what can happen as a result of littering. Many times plastic waste ends up in the ocean where sea animals can die after mistaking it for their food. Littering is a very detrimental environmental problem and as this piece reminds us…. ‘One mistake, can cost a lifetime.’
